Find the right support for your course

UK-based IB students who need a focused online Mathematics tutor for school topics, IA planning and final exam preparation.

Confirm the qualification before choosing tuition: this page covers IB Mathematics AA and AI at SL or HL. IGCSE and A Level students can use the separate course links below. School year alone is not enough to identify the syllabus.

For Year 12 or Year 13 IB students, share the course level, your next school assessment and any IA deadline. I can plan weekly topic support or a focused revision block around that evidence, subject to available lesson times.

A useful AA lesson may begin with a differentiation problem and ask the student to explain why each step is valid. An AI lesson may instead check the choice of statistical model and the interpretation of calculator output. Practice follows the student’s actual route.

Anand Sir teaches online from Bangalore. Share availability in UK local time and confirm it again when the clocks change. Earlier evening or weekend requests can be checked; late UK evenings are not automatically available.

Classes are one-to-one online sessions with a clear plan, live explanation, practice, homework follow-up and parent visibility where required. The aim is not only to finish topics, but to make the student confident in how to think, write, calculate and explain under exam pressure.

Anand Sir works with students across different countries and timezones, so the teaching can adapt to school calendars, internal assessments, unit tests, final exams and long-term score goals.

Plan your IB Maths lessons

  1. Send your exact course: Analysis and Approaches (AA) or Applications and Interpretation (AI), at SL or HL, plus your examination year and session.

  2. Bring a recent test and one question you could not finish. We can distinguish a missing prerequisite from a difficulty choosing a method or communicating a solution.

  3. A useful revision cycle is to attempt a problem independently, discuss the reasoning, correct the solution and retry a related question later. The lesson plan can follow your school's current unit or a specific assessment deadline.

  4. For an IA, bring your own idea and draft. Guidance focuses on scope, mathematical reasoning and feedback; the exploration remains your own work.

How the classes work

UK IB lessons start by checking the student's specific route: MYP, AA SL/HL or AI SL/HL.

The class plan then balances immediate school work, IA deadlines and final exam preparation.

Sessions are interactive and one-to-one, with homework review used to keep progress measurable.
