Information we process
- Account details such as name, username, email address, verified personal email, role and sign-in/security records.
- Student profile and learning information such as school, curriculum, assigned courses, schedules, attendance, homework, tutor feedback, progress and class-package information.
- Files submitted or provided through the service, including homework, resources, profile photographs and private class recordings or summaries where access is enabled.
- Technical service information required to operate the app, such as a mobile push-notification token, device platform/app version, request security logs and error information.
- Messages you choose to send through contact forms, email or WhatsApp. Opening WhatsApp transfers you to WhatsApp and its own privacy terms apply.
The mobile app does not request precise or approximate location, camera, microphone, contacts or advertising-ID access. It does not contain third-party advertising.
Why we use the information
We use information to authenticate accounts, provide and schedule tutoring, show the correct student portal data, deliver homework and recordings, enable submissions and feedback, send service notifications, provide support, protect accounts, prevent abuse and meet legal or accounting obligations. We do not sell personal information or use student data for behavioural advertising.
Service providers and disclosures
Information is shared only as necessary with service providers that help deliver the tutoring service, including secure hosting/storage, email delivery, Zoom, Google Calendar, Expo/Google push-notification infrastructure and payment/accounting services. Access is limited to the relevant purpose. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect users and the service.
Students, parents and children
The portal is intended for enrolled students and their authorised parents or guardians. Parent accounts receive access only to linked student records. For younger students, the parent or guardian is expected to authorise and supervise use. The service does not knowingly use children’s information for advertising or sell it.
Security and retention
We use encrypted HTTPS connections, authenticated private endpoints, password hashing, access controls and secure mobile session storage. Information is kept only for as long as needed to provide tutoring, maintain legitimate educational/business records, resolve disputes and comply with law. Retention can differ by record type. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may review or update available profile fields in the app or web portal, disable notifications in Android settings, request a copy or correction of your information, or request account deletion. Deletion removes or anonymises personal data except where retention is legally required or necessary for legitimate records.
International access and updates
Students may access the service internationally, so information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate, subject to appropriate safeguards. We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The latest version and effective date will remain on this page.
